StratX was asked by a major client to implement Value Innovation across their international operations. Through a series of workshops, StratX gave top management teams hands-on experience with the innovation process, using their insight to align training for 170 managers worldwide. Via simulations, case studies and “train the trainer” exercises, each manager learned how to bring innovation to the heart of their business unit — including strategic planning and incentives — to reinforce the mindset at every level.
While we often see the results of innovation, we hardly ever think about how innovation happens. Go behind the scenes, and you quickly realize that innovation isn’t limited to a handful of teams. It’s a process and mindset that every employee is able to adopt, always contributing new ideas that drive greater value and profit.
From insights that can open new markets to finding new growth in existing markets, opportunities to lower costs to strategies to improve customer satisfaction, innovation is the key that unlocks your true potential for success. Helping you develop that capacity is the reason why StratX created its new Value Innovation practice.
StratX has drawn from its action-oriented approach to deliver the first training aimed at true innovation skills. Our approach is highly structured, but highly interactive. The goal is to empower professionals with the tangible processes necessary for them to innovate within their own role, and to share innovative ideas across the organization.
Throughout the program, professionals aren’t just given best in class theory, but the means to practice their skills via exercises, simulations, case studies and coaching that focuses on specific company issues. Core topics include:
At the executive level, StratX will help clients create a value proposition that not only drives innovation for existing customers and new customers, but reduces unnecessary costs to provide even greater profit. This relationship between value and cost is the key to Value Innovation, and realizing it is a cornerstone of our consulting expertise.
Equally important, we can provide insights to help the organization better recognize and utilize innovative ideas. Companies don’t need to change their entire culture to become more innovative. Through realistic objectives such as empowering the individual, and improving communication to better share ideas, companies can not only inspire greater innovation, but take full advantage of it on a worldwide basis.
More and more companies are shifting toward value-added services as a way to sustain and renew competitive advantage. StratX designs and delivers initiatives to build the attitudes, behaviors and skills crucial to successfully manage and bring services to market.
